What is paw balm?
REX Pet-Safe Paw Balm is a protective and moisturizing formula designed to support healthy paw pads. It helps soothe dryness, prevent cracking, and create a barrier against harsh elements like snow, salt, heat, and rough terrain.
Is it safe for my pet to lick?
Yes - in moderation. Our paw balm is made with pet-safe ingredients. However, we recommend allowing it to absorb for a few minutes after application for best results.
When should paw balm be used?
Paw balm is especially helpful:
• During winter (snow, ice, salt)
• During summer (hot pavement)
• For active dogs on trails or rough terrain
• Anytime paw pads look dry or cracked
Can paw balm be used on areas other than paws?
Yes. Paw balm can also be used on dry noses or rough elbow patches. Use a small amount and gently massage in.
How should I apply paw balm?
- Make sure paws are clean and dry.
- Apply a small amount directly to the paw pads.
- Massage in thoroughly.
- Allow a few minutes to absorb before activity.
Less is more — a thin layer is all you need.
How should I store paw balm?

Can this completely replace bathing my dog?
No—our fragrances are designed to complement a regular grooming routine, not replace it. Think of them as the finishing touch between baths to keep your dog smelling fresh and refined.

Lightly mist onto your dog’s coat from a safe distance, avoiding the face, eyes, and sensitive areas. You can also spray onto a brush and groom through the coat for an even softer application. Use on bedding and clothes, too!

We ship domestically within the United States - we do not offer international shipping at this time.

Orders are processed within 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be unused
- Item must be in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless item is defective
